Dr. Lai-Yet Lam, MD

I was promised I wouldn’t have to see her today, she barged into the exam room while I was in a compromised state, she proceeded to gaslight and lie to me, I was crying and told her I didn’t wish to speak to her today. I was a wreck.

She was rude and didn’t follow basic sanitation procedures when performing an exam on me. She made me uncomfortable the whole time so I decided to leave in the middle of my appointment because it was apparent she had a lack of basic knowledge about cross contamination with medical supplies.

First of all she had no idea why I was there I had cancer a year ago but she had no clue could not understand her when she spoke she spoke broken English could not spell to enter anything into the computer assistant had to spell for her I would not recommend her to anyone

Hard to find her, she only works 1 day in a week, very unprofessional, and will not spend time with you

She spent 10 minutes on a phone with a stock broker while my wife was visiting her in office. She said she was sorry for that because the other side could not let her go. Ok, we accepted, but when my wife drove about 2 hours for a surgery to just be on time as she required, she, as physican was not even there with no explaination. After waited for 45 minutes, we just left. We did not feel comfortable anymore.

Weird office hour, long waiting time (more than an hour), charging more than one copay which is against policy, asks for $500 if you want her to guarantee to be with the delivery. Weird advice on replacing prenatal vitamin with diet. My last vist was for a testing result reading. When she knew that I was switching to another doctor, she let me wait for more than an hour, then refuse to tell me the testing result because I am switching doctor and made phony explanation that insurance won't pay for this visit
