Dr. Laila Sajwani, MD

Had to change PCP due to change in insurance, had good experience. I have multiple medical conditions and was concerned if I would be able to get appropriate care. I am happy that I have found Dr. Sajwani.

Absolutely the worst experience with a doctor I've ever had. She spent less than 2 minutes evaluating my Bell's Palsy but because I was crying she suggested it was a mental illness. Who wouldn't be scared and crying experiencing something like this for the first time. It was obvious I had a real medical condition, I couldn't move my face. What kind of doctor does this? Terrible bedside manner and will only spend a couple minutes with you before she's rushing out the door. Didn't get a chance to ask her any questions because she was gone before I could even process what just happened.

Just established care. Visit went really well.. addressed my concern very well.. also discussed preventive medicine, which doctors mostly ignored including appropriate immunization and screening test.

I had good experience with this doctor. Straight forward.

Prompt services. I got call for my results within 48 hours of my visit with future care plans and follow up promptly. In the past doctors sometimes take forever to come back to you.

Not only she helped in with my current medical issue but did briefly talked about health maintenance and scheduled visit only dedicated to preventive health. She definitely deserves 5 stars.

average doc, no special treatment. she seems to know medicine well (she should she's a dr.) but nothing special. I saw her for 3 years and was not impressed. I never felt like she advocated for my health. I had to practically beg for referrals to specialists as there was significant "push-back" from her; it was obvious she was not wanting to refer me. Her bedside manner could be warmer/more friendly and she could be a better listener and have some reverence for what the pt. is telling her; we know something is wrong which is why we came to a Dr.

I moved to AZ last year from CA and was still looking for a good PCP. Dr. Sajwani was third PCP I saw and found her to be great. I suffer from diabetes and she was the first doc who actually explained about the current ADA guidelines of total diabetes management. I am really happy.

This is probably the worst primary doctor I have ever been assigned to. Very unprofessional and rude, does not care about the patients. My visits were normally 5 min long just because she did her best to get done with you quickly without investigating or asking questions to know what is going on. Does not seem concerned about your health, I had a condition that I was going to see her for and she didn't care much and it took for it to getting worse and ending up in the ER for me to finally get the help I needed. Stay away if you can!!
