Dr. Laine Douglas Dvorak, MD

Took my newborn son to ER and Dr. Dvorak was the on call doctor. My son was showing signs of problems breathing. Dr. Dvorak listened to his lungs and looked at him and said he is fine take him to his doctor tomorrow. The nurse checked his oxygen saturation and it was at 74% normal is above 92%. Later that night i took him to the neighboring ER because still was not improving his oxygen saturation was now 50% and had to be life flighted to Blanks children hospital. He did not do Xrays which he would have noticed showed he has RSV and pneumonia in both lungs. My son was hospitalized for a week and a half and the doctors at the children hospital said any doctor would know in a newborn listening to their lungs is not a sufficent way of diagnosing them and he should have done Xrays. I will never go to him again and neither will my family.
