So apparently, Dr. Devalaraju believes that if you ever come up positive for cannabis that you are now addicted. Let me be even clearer, I took a blood test that should NOT have included a drug screen, and it came back positive for THC. Now, 5 years later, my VA record shows, "cannabis dependence." That's not even a thing!! This lady grew up in a bubble and is completely out of touch with reality. Also, she's extremely condescending and impersonal. If you're lucky, she'll look away from her screen to make momentary eye contact with you.

My permanent record indicates "cannabis dependance" (is that even a real thing?) after ONE borderline result on a drug screen. The screen, required for the use of pain medication, was conducted without my knowledge or consent. When I disputed this, she printed out documents and held them literally in front of my face in the most unprofessional manner I've ever experienced. I happen to have a decade of medical experience, and can't even imagine doing this to one of my patients. This "doctor" is the kind that never even bothers to make eye contact with you and believes she is holier-than-thou. STRONGLY recommend finding another provider, perhaps one who cares about the patient and not the income.
