A few years ago, as a male in my forties it was time to schedule the inevitable colonoscopy. As I am wheeled into the OR what graces my presence is Dr. Gopal; a vibrant, radiant, gorgeous Indian Goddess! I could not believe my eyes. Figured as I had begun the anesthesia process I had gone under and was happily dreaming. But I was awake as she lit up the room with her outgoing, positive, knowledgeable, calming nature; did I mention she is absolutely beautiful? Well she is. Not ever, ever in the far reaches of my mind could I imagine (pleasantly) experiencing anyone inserting objects into my body. But at that moment, boy was I excited! Makes me wish I had opted out of getting knocked out by professionals. I wanted eye contact. I wanted to watch while she did her work. I wanted to witness any slight expression that she may also be enjoying this moment. Maybe next time...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Dr.Gopal was extremely helpful and caring in her manner of working with the Air Force veteran I brought in to see her today at the Jefferson Street VA Clinic. She relieved my veteran of all the anxiety he had about thinking he had cancer. Dr. Gopal is gifted in adjusting the patient’s attitude for the better. Thank you Dr. Bopal! Sincerely, Al Bagocius

Dr Gopal was great and her team was totally awesome. I had a colonoscopy at The VA on Jefferson st in Jacksonville, FL, She made me feel like I was family and was very professional, polite and a great sense of humor, she was fun and really enjoyed what she does as a Doctor, she made sure I was informed and understood my procedure and was very attentive and answered my questions and her team was just like she was they enjoyed what they did and it showed. Each team member cared about me from start to finish I felt the love they displayed for me. Most of them are cowboy fans that was the only flaw lol! I have been to other gastroenterologists and can say truthfully, Dr. Gopal is exceptional in EVERY WAY. (My father, brother & son passed away colorectal cancers). I am much older than any of them and she had to ANALYZE AND CORRECT THE SERIOUSLY BAD PRESCRIBED TREATMENT OF ANOTHER GASTROENTEROLOGIST. IF SHE MOVES FROM PENSACOLA I WILL GO WHEREEVER SHE GOES FOR MY NEXT APPOINTMENT
