Dr. Lakshmi V Hanasoge, MD

My husband took our 8 year old son to see Dr. Hanasoge a couple months ago for a well visit (our first with this Dr) and she had my son in tears when we left. Based on finding out that we homeschool our son, she started in berating him about not having enough play time with children, spending too much time on screens, and needing more physical activity. Mind you this is WITHOUT asking him ANYTHING else. My son does jit jitsu 3 days a week, he swims 3 days a week, does Crossfit workouts with his father on a regular basis, he can run a mile without stopping, can do 30 strict pushups on his toes, and generally is faster and physically stronger than ALL of his peers. We are an active outdoorsy family, my son has PLENTY of friends and plays with kids of all ages regularly. Dr. Hanasoge berated him, based solely on hearing he was homeschooled and he left there feeling like a bad person. My husband took him to this visits - had i been there the office staff would have had to physically remove… me from the place. This woman has no business being a physician let alone one who works with children. CCF should fire her - they are the #2 hospital in the country and people like her will slowly bring the hospital's reputation to ruins.

Very thorough . I work at the same area as a nurse and her and her team came HIGHLY recommended...we nurses know who's who! This is my baby so I made sure to choose after I did my research

She doesn't have time to answer all the questions. Diagnosis is not correct. my baby had some allergies and she said it is because of the milk he through up and now after 4 months, she says its egzema ... ridiculous

My children have seen her for years, they love her so much that my daughter who is turning 18 doesn't want another doctor. She has always listened to me about concerns I have about my children and has even called to check on them.

Very poor diagnosis. Very insensitive towards kids. Never have time to answer questions. Easily gets irritated if asked more than 5 questions.
