Dr. Lal Tanwani, MD

Dr Tanwani was personable but minimally responsive to relationship building. Proficient in his professional duty. Not making unnecessary appointments for his own profit.

After a 1 hour wait in his office a staff member will walk out and yell my last name , letting me know another visit has officially begun , after a while to Doctor walks in staring at his computer and barely acknowledging me , he will the get up and leave the room when he is done , when they send my prescription over to the pharmacy , they always send the wrong one over to them , if the pharmacy sends them a message about the issue the office will not reply , if the pharmacy calls , the office will not answer if I call the office I am yelled at and told to fix the issue myself , I have finally given up and am tired of dealing with rude , inconsiderate staff. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

The robotic doctor that does not talk to me , the long waits , the rude staff are nothing compared to the epic prescription battles I have with them , the latest on has been going on for 3 weeks they are usually over in 2 , they prescribe insulin vials , first I never used insulin vials and if the look at my prescription history the can see that , then they get the 30 day or 90 day amount wrong and they get the type wrong , I have been using Humalog 75-25 Kwik pens the whole time . and if the pharmacy messages about the issue, they do not reply and if they call they do not answer , I am finally getting a new doctor on Thursday I cannot believe I have put up with their attitude and incompetence for so long , GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I would have gave him zero but Im sure there is worse. Everything you read here is true. He acts like a robot, wont even look at you, refuses to fill some medications unless you physically see him every 3 months...you should hear my wife deal with his incompetent staff. The receptionist quote "Dont always have time" to call a patient back in 24hrs if there is a problem with a refill. I am on TRT...if you have male hormone problems stay away from this doctor. He will make you jump through hoops every single refill. And the rooms... literally so dirty I take pictures of the same cobwebs I seen a year ago. The same moldy walls and ceiling tiles. You can just TELL your in a failing practice. ..I cant wait to get off Passport so I can avoid this whole building of 2nd rate 3rd world doctors!

Do not use his "new lab" unless you can first confirm it is within your network. I just got a $1200 bill from Mercy Diagnostics for having 1 vial of blood taken to test my TSH level. Dr. Tanwani is also not very informative. Trying to get some information is like pulling teeth.

Horrible. That's the only word to describe the entire experience. I'm an RN/BSN- he was so very uneducated that I had to keep correcting him. He sees my 17, who has had his thyroid removed. Very rude, ill mannered, and simply awful. His staff is so hateful- its overbooked to the point when you get here, the ten seat waiting room is full, people are waiting in the hallway. And for what? Far less than par medical evaluation and treatment? Relatively certain he received his "degree" online. He should be ashamed of himself. And his staff, behavior.

Dr. Tanwani is the first doctor to get and keep my diabetes under control. Additionally, he takes care of my thyroid readings since my thyroid was surgically removed. Dr. Tanwani is a quiet man, but when he speaks, I want to listen. I find him friendly, kind, and above all caring.
