Dr. Lama Abdulkader Hashish, MD

I went to another Doctor for 1 year, absolutely no help. In desperation I went to Dr. Hashish and I feel like she has given me my life back. I have an auto immune disorder which falls under a large umbrella, Dr. Hashish helps me to understand my options and gives me great hope for a healthy future. My fatigue was off the charts, now I can get through the day, I highly recommend her. Her staff has always been easy for me to deal with, overall if you need help, make the appointment, it's worth the wait.

What a wonderful doctor as a person as a doctor as a human being and it is so sad that her staff front office cannot be the same way. They have no patience they are rude they could care less they close the window on you when you’re still talking they need some major training

I am 100% satisfied and confident in the care I receive from Dr. H. She care about the whole person and takes as much time as each person needs. High recommended.

It is impossible to see Dr. Hashish except for schedule appointments. If you experience problems or a flare up with your arthritis, they can’t schedule you a sooner appointment.

If you do not have to deal with her staff, you will find this doctor well suited to address your needs. If you have to rely on her staff, best hope it is not an emergency. Since I have been seeing this doctor (4 years now) I have yet to have her staff call in pre-auths without having to at least call her office twice to get them to move on the request. If you have never seen an office full of Alzheimer's staff, go here, the affliction runs deep and wide in this office.

I met Dr. Hashish about 9 years ago. She walked me through my options with all the meds that were available to me and how they worked. She was always very caring from the very beginning and as of today she has not changed. I adore Dr. Hashish, because of her skills and the love she has for her patients to make us feel better! I have been able to live a normal life and I'm able to wear my high heels again! :) I always recommend her to anyone I meet that tells me they have RA or any RA symptoms. I high recommend DR. Hashish as your RA Doctor.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Lama Hashish for rheumatoid arthritis for better than 10 years, she’s an awesome doctor, and I think the world of her. Dr. Hashish Is the best rheumatologist in San Antonio... Dr. Hashish listens and hear all your problems concerning arthritis and gives the best advice and knowledge to fix in the situation you have. I’m extremely and excited to have her as my doctor ?????? Dr.Hashish is so thorough and compassionate. She talks to you like a friend and explains everything. Her staff is professional and courteous.

I love Dr Hashish. She is very friendly and caring. She takes her time listening to me. My problem is with the nursing staff. Twice I have had a very difficult time obtaining necessary medication refills or pre authorizations. I have called for 3 days trying to get a pre auth. The nurse told me yesterday she would call insurance today (Friday). She left the office and still no pre auth. Thankfully, the office staff on the first day offered me a sample to hold me over until I could get the prescription filled. I now have to wait the entire weekend and call again on Monday (4th day to call) to ask again for her to do an absolute necessary function of her job. On the first day I called I told the nurse I was having chest pain and difficult breathing and experiencing joint pain. She said that was common when stopping the medication. Why did she not offer me a sample or be courteous enough to call me when she did not complete the task of calling the insurance company?

Excellent doctor, thorough, listens and explains all medical procedures. I don't feel rushed and her staff has always been courteous and professional
