Dr. Lamia Dris, MD

For my first time I felt very good, the doctor explained everything well.

I've been a patient with PCA for over a year now and have been prescribed medications and undergone a surgical procedure. After multiple visits, I've realized that despite the staff's kindness and gregariousness, I do not feel cared for by Dr. Dris. She never seems to know my case, even though she has been my only provider for my condition. She always asks me about the backstory behind my dysrhythmia and which medications I'm taking, even though she was my medication prescriber. It's a bit disheartening. As I've said, everyone there is nice, including Dr. Dris. She's funny and energetic, but it never seems like she's invested in your care. Being an electrophysiologist, she is a specialist and has much on her plate. I understand that she sees hundreds of patients each year, but it is impossible to get any communication from her unless she is in front of you. I only hope that she reviews patient charts better in the future. My most recent appointment could have easily been… covered in a short email or phone call. I took time away from work and drove nearly 30 miles, only to be told to return in 3 months because she did not order my heart monitor. It's a bit sad, really.

Doctor Dris is a very knowledgeable physician,she cares a lot ,and I would definitely recommend her to all my friends and family.

I feel truly blessed to have met Dr. Lamia Dris. Not only is she exceptional in her technical skills, but she is also incredibly empathetic. I attended all of my dad's doctor visits, and she was always patient, allowing me time to translate while thoroughly explaining everything with care and answering all of my questions. I trusted her completely with my dad's care, and he is doing better today thanks to her efforts. Dr. Dris is also warm and personable—it feels like you're speaking to a caring human being, not the typical cold and detached doctor.

Dr Dris is the best as she is so professional, courteous, knowledgeable and smart to boot. It doesn’t get any better than that in my books. A blessing for sure. Arthur Holland.
