Dr. Lamice R. El-Kholy, MD

Dr Kholy is very professional and easy to talk to, I feel that she is concerned about her patients.

Dr El-Kholy is antiquated in her medical practicing, doesn’t listen or care about patients input. She is intimidated by educated patients and becomes defensive and condescending.....I tried to leave her for another endocrinologist and she confronted me about that! How she knew was questionable and suspect! I finally had enough of her unprofessional inept staff, her and I left. I think Dr El-Kholy is a ridiculously dangerous controlling woman and shouldn’t be practicing. Annemarie Weigle

Talked to me like I was incapable of understanding what she said. Have had 3 visits and will not go back to her. She is awful to work with!

I was a patient of hers for two years and she does NOT listen to what I share with her. She asked the same questions about my history when I had medical records transferred to her. She is very condescending and does not involve you in the plan of care. Her decisions for my treatment plan were based solely on her opinion as opposed to anything she found with lab results.

Very knowledgeable, caring and concerned.

She doesn't seem to care about the patients concerns nor does she involve the patient in the plan of care. Her office is terrible at returning faxes from pharmacies for prescription refills. There have been numerous times that I have had to make multiple phone calls to her office just to ensure they actually fax the prescription to the right pharmacy. Yesterday they faxed my prescription to the wrong pharmacy when the right pharmacy requested the prescription. I wouldn't suggest this doctor or her office because I don't have time to sit on the phone all day fixing their mess ups.

The office is really bad.

Dr. El-Kholy is a very caring and thoughtful person. She takes her time and explains everything to you. More doctors should be like her.
