Dr. Lan Su, DDS

Do not waste your time or money on this charlatan. Literally no help given and she spent all of 15 minutes telling me that I had to learn to live with my pain. She also told me I needed a bone scan to see if I had major bone loss. I got a scan even though I am only 44 and the results were normal for my age with nothing remarkable by my doctors. She gave me nothing but the guidance to use hot compresses. Another thing, I don't think she actually has an office, she just rents rooms in other offices. She does not have any email so all your reports will be sent via fax.....what decade are we in? The most ridiculous.

For you information: This doctor does not take medicare. She wants to get money ASAP. If you can ONLY DO PAYMENTS, she will charge you interest. This doctor will not negotiate. Make sure your dentist does not choose this doctor to send specimens to if you are on medicare.

Dr. Su's care did not solve my persistent gum/tooth pain. However, she charged an astonishingly high fee of $1,284 for our initial consultation and production of a mouth guard, as well as a second fee of $285 for a 6-minute office visit to give me the mouth guard. She kept me waiting for over a half hour for this second visit. I feel grossly overcharged and underserved by this doctor.

My husband was diagnosed by an ENT, and two "experts" with severe TMJ and pursued treatment for same, costing us tens of thousands of dollars and squandering precious time. When the pain was not subsiding after months of treatments we went to Dr. Su for a fourth opinion. Our worst fears were confirmed after she sent him for an MRI with contrast which confirmed recurring tongue cancer. However, with the proper diagnosis we received from Dr. Su, she was able to help relieve his pain and direct the care he received in his final months in a palliative way that gave him comfort. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Su.

Dr. Su is a rare find in what she practice and she is very skilled and talented.

Dr Su is a hard to find TMJ specialist and her treatment is super compared with other so called 'specialists' I was recommended.
