She takes the time she needs to help me without wasting any, is empathetic and not patronizing, she listens!

Felt like a waste of time. Just setting up as a new patient. She made no eye contact, didn't even listen to my heart or feel my throat where I expressed my current issue. She was quick to leave and I felt like an idiot even coming in.

My recent experience with Springfield Family Physicians, the nursing staff, and specifically Dr. Gee Gott was frustrating, unhelpful and downright unprofessional. I called the office with a simple, specific request. That request was denied, and when I asked for reasoning behind their decision, was treated terribly. I was cut off when trying to explain why my request was being made, put on hold mid-sentence, and talked over numerous times. Dr. Gee Gott herself got on the line with me, was condescending and rude, and unbelievably, hung up on me. I felt that not only were my needs not heard, but they were simply not cared about at all. I am not a demanding patient, and I have seen her for years. I have never been impressed by her bedside manner, but this certainly put me over the edge. Her behavior was awful, her staff was uncaring, and the whole experience was unprofessional. As a local health care provider, I have insight into the inner workings of a medical office, and find their… behavior unacceptable. My family and I will never be going to this office again. I will be looking elsewhere for a practitioner who cares about the needs of their patients.

I started going to Dr Gee-Gott when my beloved doctor retired. I did not want to like her as I was considering moving to another practice. But dang it she hooked me in with her patient bedside manner, listening ear, and willingness to give my suggestions a try. 3 years later and I am still very happy with her continued care.
