It is sad that there are so many bad reviews. If it were possible to give a lower review I would. I was admitted into Troy Beaumont 21 days ago. Dr. Kawa was assigned to me. Each of the bad reviews are verified by me. She is unprofessional and storms into my room with sarcasm and no empathy. Seriously not what I expected or have dealt with in the past. Upon being discharged from the hospital I voiced my concerns to a supervisor. I honestly do not understand how she is one of the house doctors and given to people with serious problems Unfortunately I have been a patient several times at Troy Beaumont. Never once have I ever been treated or felt so badly about my treatment If anyone goes into Troy Beaumont and receives her as their doctor I recommend highly to change to someone that will actually help you. Dr. Kawa has 2 spellings for her las name. Don’t be fooled it is the same Dr.

If you are admitted to Dr. Kawa in the hospital ask for another doctor. She doesn’t see her patients, doesn’t place orders, nor does she care about her patients or staff. She should not be allowed to practice.

We noticed the name KAWA on the board and waited for this DR. to come by and to see if any relation to someone we knew. WELL, this lady NEVER showed up or treated the patient and then.....Received a claim from insurance for $250.00 for services. Was she invisible? Reading the reviews sure makes you believe she is unethical and sneaky and a terrible example of a DR. How can this woman get away with this. We have left this entire practice. Apparently she is a scam artist at best and should loose her license. Makes a bad name for this practice. Pathetic and shameful.

Brass is the word that comes to mind with the Dr..Rude, terrible bedside manor, does not listen to anyone. She would take credit for things she never did that other physicians did for her. Never read the files for results, I knew before she did by asking nurses. . ordering tests that we're not even related to my condition. Very scary situation. Im pretty sure she needs to stop now. The staff she treated horribly by her controlling bad attitude. Run do not walk!

My dear mother went to the ER and unfortunately was admitted to this unprofessional, rude, condescending, disrespectful doctor. She not only treated the patient badly but also the nurse and other medical staff for calling her. It took 22 hours for her to even see my mom and right from the start she was rude and disreespectful and kept on yelling "why are you here, why did you come here?" Obviously she did not want to fulfil her duty as a medical doctor to serve and take care of the medical needs of the patient. Because of her my mom decided to schedule an outpatient surgery with the surgeon so she wouldn't have to deal with heartless Dr. Kawa.

poor bedside manner, doesn't listen to what you have to say and acts as if she is always right. She was especially rude to her staff, using passive aggressive comments and at times verbal abuse. She may have a good head on her shoulders but she doesn't have the heart to be a good doctor.

Intelligent, caring doctor

I don't understand these other comments. My experience with Dr. Kowa was great all the way through. She always made sure to explain everything in a way that I understood and was very reasonable.

Run in the other direction!!

Very nice doctor, very caring about her patients and their issues. Takes ample time with patients and families to answer questions and makes her self available much more often than most other doctors. Very professional. Highly recommended!
