Dr. Lance Mikio Kagihara, MD

He is a thorough, play-it-safe doctor. He explains things clearly and takes time to reassure me. Sometimes the wait to see him is a bit long, but is not usually a problem. The reason that I don't rate him higher is because his receptionist, Rem, is condescending and rude. She is easily frustrated with patients and makes them feel as though they are wasting her time. Think maybe it's time for her to retire or find another line of work.

Appt. @10:45am it's now 12:15pm still waiting.

The office help is very efficient, I receive a call back within 1day. Dr. Kagihara takes time to explain things.What I find extremely important is his ability to make me feel comfortable.

Does not return calls. Have tried making appt and called 3x during 2-wk period. Remily, the front person, keeps saying will call back. I can hear they are busy in background but is 3-weeks an adequate time to keep a patient waiting? I had some tests done and no calls from Dr. Kagihara on what results are. Frustrating. My private insurance is paying for this? He used to be more attentive. Maybe time to retire? or change staff?

Dr. Kagihara is always concerned about me as a person. He's kind and compassionate. He treats my problems with care and has helped keep me healthy for many years.
