Dr. Lance Joseph Lehmann, MD

I went to Dr. Lehmann, hoping for someone to finally help me with my back and neck pain. I was so desperate for help, I spent over a year taking the gabapentin an ibuprofen 800mg that he kept saying would eventually help me. They didn't help, ever, just made me feel tired and dizzy all the time. I kept asking if there was something else, a procedure or something he could try.. His favorite, dismissive way of treating my concerns was to say that ibuprofen helped his tennis elbow so it should help me, yyou know because herniated disc's pressing against nerves causing constant, unrelenting pain is totally the same right? He got me to do expensive cortisol injections that made the pain so bad, I was bedridden. His answer was that I should try them again. Any time I saw Lehmann he tried to pressure me to do more injections, dismissed my ongoing pain and didn't care about my well being at all. I'm so cynical about doctors and the obvious monetary incentives they have to push treatments that… don't work or have had adverse affects on their patients. That cynicism is thanks to Dr. Lehmann.

After relocating to Florida from Chicago I had a hard time looking for a pain clinic. It actually took me almost a year to find a doctor that I could trust with my back. I found Dr, Lehmann and it was great. I got the treatment I needed, he is very kind and most of all he listens to his patients.

Excellent and Very Professional & Courteous Services at office and Pain Center.Those Nurses and Doctors are the bomb! Very Caring Staff. Really talk you through every procedure and check and recheck medicine to make sure you are talking the prescribed does. Really like staff. I am a new patient. So far so good. I changed to get a netter Perspective of concerns and care.

I went to Dr. Lehman for a back issue and he diagnosed my issue and did an amazing job putting me on a treatment plan.

I've been seeing Dr Lehmann for over six years and it's always been a great experience. He's very informative and considerate of your condition. Very good personality, makes you feel at ease. I have many issues physically and has done what was necessary to help me through it. His staff is amazing, great people. Never had a problem with any of them. Very professional and courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Lehmann.

I am very happy and have less pain because of Dr Lance Lehmann.I came to him with chronic back pain due to failed back surgery syndrome(Not done by Lehmann)I had up North.I was in terrible pain and on so many narcotics.Dr Lehmann has my pain levels lessened by medication THEREPY with medications that actually help my issues.I was given METHADONE after years of being on other pain medications that I actually never felt like they helped the problem.They made me feel good for awhile but then my pain became worse.Since I started the METHADONE program I feel better.I don't over do it because I am in a drug fog.I only take my medications as needed.In the past year I have had knee problems and thanks to Dr.Lehmann and his team I am better.I could not even walk to the bathroom.Dr Lehmann gives me injections every 4 to 6mths and it helps tremendously. For someone to call this Dr a moron is ludicris.He is not going to help people destroy their lives by giving you narcotics of your choosing.He… will talk to you,evaluate your issues,and find you the best treatment to help your condition.He is a caring and extremely helpful Doctor,at least for those of you looking to heal and not overmedicate.I know he has made my life manageable, where before I was in so much pain and on so many pills that I had no life.You want your life back,I recommend this Doctor.

Having been through treatments, knowing a GOOD pain doctor from a pill-mill, I'd have to say he's a great doctor, gives great advice,and if you see him for spinal problems he will do everything appropriate to make sure you leave there in as little pain as possible. A nurse gave me a cold pack and that was plenty. It's 3 times faster than a hospital and the staff is way more accessible than in a hospital. It's not like laying in a bed after waking up and the nurse there just long enough to make sure you're alive. They know you had to skip breakfast, they are ready with juice drinks and snacks that you get as soon as you're settled to hold you over till you finally get to eat. Courteous is the best word for my encounter with everyone at the 2 locations I visited. I have no idea what the other person was talking about, I was handled professionally and effectively. I'd recommend him over any other pain doc for REAL and effective treatment. If you just want pills or heard south Florida was… the pain pill capital and you think of the doctor's office as a bar and the doctor as bar tender and you just say "give me this many of these" then yea you may not be a happy camper there. And those doctors are fleeing back their home countries or getting shut down, license yanked, and locked up nowadays. This guy KNOWS AND INSTRUCTED anesthesia- THAT MEANS HE KNOWS WHAT TO GIVE YOU TO MAKE YOU COMFORTABLE. Regualar M.D's have no business handling long term pain management- they are the ones who gave so flo the pill reputation and created a huge need for drugs like Suboxone. This doctor won't leave you as an addict and he won't leave you in pain, and his staff does not forget about you like in a hospital- you are in and out as soon as they medically can and after they have done everything to make sure it's a pain free rest of your day. They will call your ride for you when you are within however much time they need to be there to get you as long as you give them the number. And it doesn't stop there, they also do telephone personal calls to you to make sure you're still in an improving state. Strongly recommend this doctor for anything requiring spinal steroid injections.
