Summary
After working in an ER and as a general pediatrician, I became a pediatric hosptialist (with longer shifts) so that I could spend more days at home with my children. I take care of children admitted to the hospital, attend high risk deliveries and do consultations in the ER. I am particulary interested in helping birth mothers and adoptive families, and working with gay and lesbian youth and their parents.
My partner is a child psychiatrist. We met in a Labor and Delivery room at work. We have 4 children, a girl and 3 boys. At one point they were all under 4 1/2 years old. We have 2 dogs- Betty and Carl, and 2 cats- Alice and Roger.
