Dr. Roy does not have the personality for a pain specialist. During my visit he was in a bug hurry, spoke to me very loudly, and showed no empathy whatsoever. He offered me no options for my chronic pain. At the end of my visit he asked ME what I wanted to do after telling me that what I was referred for probably wouldn’t work. Also said we COULD do an MRI but that it might show something and then we would have to do surgery.

Visited for severe, chronic pain. Treated me like a customer at a Used Car lot. Horrible bedside manners. He spent a total of 10 minutes with me, 5 of which I needed to explain why I was there. You would think he would have done some upfront work to understand my condition. He then gave me a bunch of product pamphlets on different brands of spinal implants. 10 minutes and then "pushed" a spinal implant of a company which he has an i.e. consulting, research, and/or educational services interest in? His assistant called me 3 times after my visit pushing me to schedule a date for the spinal implant. This is outrageous.
