Dr. Lannie L Weak

Lannie L. Weak, Jr. D.D.S. Dr. Weak graduated Summa Cum Laude from Creighton University with his Bachelor of Science degree in 1983.  He then went on to attend the UNMC College of Dentistry in Lincoln, where he received his DDS.  Over the four years he attended the Dental College his achievements included eight semesters on the Dean’s List, the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award, the American Society of Dentistry for Children’s Award, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honorary and the Senior General Practice Award.  He graduated third in his class of 56.  Upon graduation he was asked to serve on the UNMC College of Dentistry Board of Directors.  He served on the board for two terms.  He also served as a part-time clinical instructor for 10 years as he was growing his own practice here in Omaha. Dr. Weak’s integrity, work ethic and dedication to his patients has attracted a staff that he is proud to work with every day including the 2007 Omaha (ODHA) and Nebraska (NDHA) Dental …Hygienist’s Association’s Hygienist of the year awards recipient and the current NDHA president. Dr. Weak received the 2006 ODHA and NDHA employer of the year awards for his dedication to providing his staff a welcoming and rewarding environment in which to work. He has been an active member of Christ Community Church for the past 20 plus years.  Community activities include the Omaha Street School, KJ’s carts for kids, and the Open Door Mission, where he was bestowed the Good Samaritan Award.  He was also Co-President along with his wife, of the Millard North Band Boosters. Dr. Weak is married to Carol, his bride of 27 years.  Their oldest son, Andrew works as a high school band director in Dallas, Texas.  Their middle son, Timothy, attends Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois where he plays Wild Cat football.  Katy, their daughter, attends the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where she is a member of the Cornhusker Marching Band.  Any spare time he has he loves spending with his wife and family, restoring Tri-Five Chevy’s  and attending car shows.
