Dr. Lara Diane Church, MD

Dr. Church is amazing! As a new patient, I was treated with the utmost care and no issue was too minor for her. She was not dismissive or willing to let me go without answers. It's such a relief to have a doctor on your side and not treat you as though you are unimportant. Dr. Church is a true advocate for her patients!

Very uncaring and the staff that works for her directly are the same way. Negative experience. Would recommend another physician!

The first thing I did after leaving her office was schedule an appointment to find a better doctor, which I did, luckily. I found this doctor to be unsympathetic and dismissive. A waste of my time. Adding insult to injury, her office did not process my insurance and overcharged me by over $250. Serving vulnerable, sick people requires better than she provided. Those who choose to work in the medical profession should show more kindness and provide real help, not overcharge for a whole lot of nothing. I recommend avoiding Dr. Church for anything more complicated than the flu. She will simply outsource to a specialist.

This is the worst physician I have ever been to. I was misdiagnosed and was refused tests that were done by previous physicians on a yearly basis. I offered to pay out-of-pocket, as Medicare instructs and was still refused. She suggest her way or the highway and I took the highway. She does not listen to parents and their concerns.

Follow up after visit is non existent. Gets somewhat defensive when patient asks questions.

Be prepared to wait a long time and NOT get any answers.

Does not take the time to thoroughly explain test results or diagnosis. Always have to call to find out about follow up, test results, etc. Seems rushed all the time.

Never received results of tests. Had to call and ask. Albeit, everything was ok, but I should receive an email, call, or a letter. It is good to have the results confirmed so you know nothing got lost in the mail, etc.
