Dr. Lara Baranov Finnila, MD

Dr. Finnila is so good with our daughter. She's patient, always presents a happy demeanor, gets on their level, is detailed with suggestions and options with parents, and is genuine in her caring.My only gripe is average wait time for me is about 30-40 minutes, but that office is so busy and she's in high demand that I can see why and it doesn't bother me too much. I budget for the time and I'd rather have a physician who cares more than one who rushes us through the process.I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

I have just called asking to see Dr. Finnila saying what problem my child has now and got an answer that they would not accept me today telling me to go to emergency clinic. It is business hours and I don't see the reason to go to emergency when I have a pediatrician working in w whole group of specialists that can provide help to my child. However, I was not offered any explanation whatsoever, and the lady on the phone simply hang up on me when I asked WHY? I have called again with the same question but the answer to me was again: they wouldn't accept me today and I should go to emergency, and after my question WHY? she again hang up on me.I do understand that providers might have right to day NO to their patients but the latter at least have to hear reason WHY that happens.This doctor (or people in her office) are the rudest ever I met in years, especially when you are desperate to get their help. I won't recommend her anyone unless you'd like to have the same experience I had just… had...
