Dr. Lara Josan Theobald, MD

She cost me the opportunity of having more children. Not once did she mention that I could do a cycle and freeze embryos before starting treatment. Once I switched oncologists, she had already given me a round of chemo, and it was too late.

My initial meeting with Dr. Theobald was mostly positive. She was personable, intelligent and I felt she would handle my treatment competently. However, everything after that has been inept, clumsy, and insensitive. Twice they have dropped the ball completely. This appears to be their modus operandi. I'm done. I am finding my cancer care elsewhere.

After not hearing about a lab report that was promised a week a go the physician's assisitant gets on the phone and starts the conversation with I have some bad news. Totally unprofessional.

My wife had a mastectomy and a sample was taken for testing to see if the cancer had spread. Dr. Theobald told her that the results would be in in 10 days. Three weeks later on pins and needles I coaxed my wife to call to find the test was never sent in. You make up your own mind.

It’s like visiting with a friend, family member, and a doctor, all in one. Dr. Theobald, and her team, are on a scale of 1-10, she is a 20!

Dr. Theobald was my mother's oncologist for almost 3 years. She is very kind, compassionate, caring Dr. She explained everything so that myself, & my mother knew what was happening with every step. She spent a lot of time with us at the hospital the last few days before my mom was moved to hospice. She answered all of our Families questions, & cared so much for my mother. She did her very best to console myself, & my family even after my mother's funeral. I can never say enough to express our Gratitude for Dr. Theobald during our entire 3 years of caring for my mother.

Dr. Theobald is such a caring and compassionate oncologist! She truly cares about me as a patient and has the answers in the very complicated, ever changing cancer world! Thank you!
