Dr. Larissa Athena Lim, MD

Dr. Lim has absolutely no bedside manner to speak of. First thing she said was " you're late " . We weren't late. She didn't even introduce herself and didn't seem in the least bit concerned about me. She would interrupt me as well. Quite frankly I felt insulted by her attitude. I will not be seeing her again.

I read some reviews that are negative about Dr. Lim so I am writing another review. I started with Dr. Lim because she was my best friend's doctor. My best friend was on hers second bout with cancer and she was losing the battle. Dr. Lim came to the hospital to see her. She sat down next to her and cried with my friend. I decided that I should change to her because she cared and was compassionate. I have received wonderful care from her over the years. I would recommend her highly.

Dr. Lim is exceptional!! She has been my doctor for approximately 5 years. I have found her knowledgeable, kind and a role model for other doctors.

I've been a patient of Dr. Lim's for 3 years. Patients don't always understand the conditions of working in group settings. It's not like having an individual practice as we knew 20 years ago. There are guidelines you must follow to see the physician. Call ahead to see the doctor and there's no problem seeing Dr. Lim. Short notice, you see a physicians assistant. This is standard procedure. The physician's assistant will call the doctor if the issue is serious enough or consult with her to insure proper procedures are folowed on issues like prescription approvals. Patients need to be responsible in dealing with their personal medical treatment.

I have been seeing Dr. Lim for about 10 years. Dr. LIm and her staff have always been timely, courteous, and helpful. Dr. Lim is accurate, thorough, and informative.

Rude, disrespectful and cruel to elderly; is not interested in a patient's complaints of symptoms; does not like to come to the hospital to see ill patients; gets angry at patients.

Dr. Lim is a awesome doctor. She spends time with me and is never in a rush. She's very thorough and makes referrals when necessary. I have been using her for about 10 years and have no desire to change doctor. Have never had a problem with wait times or getting appointments.

very hard to get in touch with the doctor. only get to see ARNP when I'm sick, and didn't get to see the doctor,even after I see ARNP and didn't get any better. Office staff was very rude, when i called for the lab result.

I liked Dr. Lim, she seemed personable and caring. I am used to physicians writing while they listen to the patient. for me it reassures that they are taking notes as I explain my problem. I would rather not rely on their ability to remember my complaint after I leave.
