I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Baker. I was sore the day of the procedure, but then back to within a week.

Dr Baker,APRN and clinical staff were wonderful, receptionist not so much! She refused to submit claim to medical insurance (even if they don't pay some may go to decucible) Ask for the info to be mailed to me so I could submit myself and still have yet to see it.

Dr. Baker and Liz his NP do an amazing job!! Dr. Baker has performed two different surgeries on me one being wisdom teeth the other was a jaw surgery he did an amazing job on both! He also extracted some teeth of my grandma's. All of these surgeries were done at Mary Lanning meaning they wern't your everyday surgery and he did an amazing job on them all. The whole staff is very professional they have called me numerous times to check on me and so fourth. They all know be by name they are very laid back and respect me very much I would highly recommend him for any oral surgery! He is a bit hard to get into for an apt. at times because he's very busy and I know he enjoys spending time hunting/fishing/at his ranch but who wouldn't after 10 plus some years of med school! He's one of the only oral surgeons in the area as well which makes it hard to get into him also!

I really liked the professionalism of the front office staff in letting me know an estimate of the fees to expect and she even called the insurance company before I made the appt and then dealt with them after the appt to make sure the paid correctly. The doctor really was well educated and took care of everything just like he said he would. I had to wait a bit because doctor was at the hospital but she offered me a coke and it was worth the wait.

The receptionist at Dr. Baker's Grand Island office was a little stand offish at first, but came around as we talked. Both Dr. Baker and his assistant were absolutely wonderful with the surgery they performed, they care they offered during and after was great as well. I would definitely refer people to Dr. Baker.

I called today to schedule an appointment for wisdom teeth removal. I first was abrubtly sent to wait on hold for a period of time. Not to mention the short, rude nature of the receptionist, I was treated very poorly. Next, she asked my insurance information of my PARENTS. I replied that I am not on my parents insurance information as I am a 28 year old married female. Is that the regular etiquette to ask all callers if they are on their parents' insurance? I would think not. I replied that we happen to be on Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska, without dental coverage, and proceeded to ask a question to whether the procedure would or would not be covered under our health insurance plan, only to be once again interrupted and asked, "that's a nice story, but we require all payments due at the time of service, is that something you think you can do"? We would be able to pay the procedure in full at the time of the appointment, but will NOT be using their services. I'm sure Dr. Baker is an… excellent Surgeon, however, due to the office staff and the rudeness of "Mary", we will take our business elsewhere.
