Dr. Larry Dale Burke, MD

Please don't let you or your loved one go to this Dr. You may go in for surgery and end up legless. He is very nonchalant. It is too late now because mu loved one is dead now. But he was very uncaring after performing surgery.

The most horrible experience ever with dr Burke If I had met him Before he did my pacemaker implant - he would never have been allowed to do it. I had no anesthesia ( by request) and he was so arrogant and non-caring, extremely rough, kept beating on my chest, and couldn't find the right size introducer. In the middle of surgery he said " I don't know what to do , can't get back in that vein" After 1hr and 15 minutes, he had seen me up and 15 minutes later my lung collapsed, he noted that was probably what happened, and I had 2 periods I passed out during the night. When I came to, my nurse appeared and my BP was 78/43. Next morning I was sent to Radiiology where I got a chest tube, 840 cc' of blood was suctioned, and still in horrific pain. Was sent home too early only to go to local Dr and get X-ray whuch showed 7-800 cc of fluid still in left plural area. So I'm now waiting to see If it will absorb, get drained again, and still can't get deep breath. Run as fast as you can from… Larry Burke - he has no respect for patient, family members, and does not get follow up treatment soon enough for his "surgically induced injuries" to the patient. He was surgeon available after my electrophysiology study and I would Never see him again. Once was way too many times to meet him. Please do not allow anyone you love or care about to use this man.

By the time I was diagnosed with PVD and sent to Dr. Burke, I could not walk without severe pain. Dr. Burke performed surgery on me ASAP. I was so happy to experience walking again without pain. My whole experience from the time I met Dr. Burke was made to feel comfortable and well informed by him as well as his staff. Highly reccomend ! Thanks Dr. Burke !

I am very disappointed with the service my wife recieved from Dr. Burke. She has more concerns now than she did before her procedure. Her follow up visit was very quick and his bedside manner was non existant. He didn't even listen to her complaints. He just said she looked fine and to follow up with her regular doctor. Not very friendly and did not seam caring. Qualities I would expect from a doctor.
