Dr. Larry Chee Chan, MD

Unfortunately we took my mom to him after our PCP referred us. Wrong diagnosis, wrong treatment and my mom now is in 5 times worse state than what she was before he started her on some a medication that was supposed to make her feel better. I wouldn’t trust him. Plus, we waited for 1 1/2 hour to get into his office past our appointment time, and there was no apology either! Staff though was friendly.

It’s been a year that he went in through my wrist and saw he had to put a stent on a 80%blocked artery. No up the groin, painful recovery. I was home same day, no pain meds! In 3 days, tape off my wrist and ready to go on with life. I don’t have words to express my gratitude. Saying “Thank you” seems so insignificant ! May God bless you with a long life full of joy and satisfaction of helping others!

Dr. Chan issmart and very few do procedures like he does and he is a great additions to our practice. Dr. Chan and his staff were friendly and very calming for my first time going to a cardiologist. They made me feel at ease and went through everything with me and Dr. Chan spoke to me as if we were friends which made me feel a lot better about what was going on

Friendly, listens, seems concerned Wait time to get in, see the doc is 1-2 hours. Unacceptable. People, especially sick people cannot sit there that long. Office manager and doc need to build in space to see needier people. When we said something to that effect, doc suggested we get another doc! Didn't care! This disrespects patients as people. Said he does not want patients complaining in his office. That attitude is that old doctor superiority thing that we thought younger docs would not have.....but they do.

I initially went in to see him through my PCP referral ... but was extremely disappointed. I spent more than 1 hour past my appointment time just waiting to get in! On top, when I met him, he didn’t seem to know the right things - I had seen 2 other cardiologists in the past, but I can say that Dr. Chan certain was not the best one. He did spend time with me - but it seems clearly he lied to me about 1-2 things (I have a nursing background and so knew about few things). I didn’t appreciate his overall treatment for my condition and I did not see any difference in the way I feel. Unfortunately I’ll have to search for another cardiologist yet again.

Just the worst, says things that seem totally inaccurate. Seems like a talker, but just doesn’t have the right things to say and does not have good medical knowledge either
