This doctor will take weeks to get back to you. He will wait weeks to refill medications. Save your self the hassle and see someone else.

He was brash cold harsh egotistical arrogant and misdirected in his diagnoses his mistreatment personally and medically led to prolonged suffering and wasted money. Request someone else stay as far away from him as possible. Has a track record of mistreating patients and with his God like ego he will continue to do injustice to those truly suffering under his orders. My children's and family suffered as well as myself until I finally had enough of his torture.

Dr. Charleston had a very rigid, extensive treatment plan laid out for me with no regard to my acceptance/nonacceptance of all it involved. It was not possible to establish a working relationship with him. He began with what he considered a definite diagnosis that was proven wrong. The outline of his plan, not allowing any input from me, was illogical, impractical, unnecessarily costly, etc., Dr. Charleston had no respect for treatments that I felt uncomfortable with and recommend you see a different neurologist.

My first visit and he had a books worth of paperwork he wanted done, including medications used in the past. Well I've been fighting these headaches for 15 years, I can't remember them all, much the effectiveness, the length of time I took it and the reason for stopping, but I got a list of scripts from my pharmacy, so I check those. And if I remembered we it was stopped I put it down. But I certainly couldn't remember them all! I did give him a write up of my history and the types of headaches I've been diagnosed with, I felt that would help him to understand my background and the complexity of my situation. It didn't help, in fact it was the opposite. He got all flustered and said I can't deal with all of these, you have to pick, which was one bad enough and I'll treat that. Then he saw that the med history was incomplete he blew up. I ended up in tears, he said I had to go home and re-do this med sheet completely and then come back. I never went back.
