Dr. Dobkin has the BEST bedside manner a doctor could have. He takes the time to answer your questions/concerns we have. Having to deal with chronic pain for years now, Dr. Dobkin knows what kind of pain medication I need , he is more than happy to provide me with a prescription, so that I can be somewhat comfortable with the pain. Truly a caring doctor!!

i was assigned to this Dr. through the ER at St Clair Hospital. When we first met he told me that i was annoying & aggervating with my questions & requests... this infront of a family member & hospital staff. PLEASE do yourself a favor- do not use this physician... why/how he is on staff at USC hospial is beyond me.

If you can get past the office staff, seeing this physician is well worth the wait. Kind, knowledgeable and he always remembers the little details of your life and family.Truly a great physician. Wouldn't trade him for anyone else.

Doctor Dobkin is one of the most excellent doctors I have ever went to, and I am 62. His compassion and skills are above 5 star........the best thing we ever did was find him, and go to him....what a gem for the medical field.... thank you Dr. Dobkin......

Dr. Dobkin takes the time to listen, you don't see that too often these days. I hate being rushed out of a Doctors office before I am finished talking about what I am there for in the first place. I would rather wait while he is taking care of another patient knowing when it is my turn, he will also take time with me.

It is true that Dr. Dobkin often runs frustratingly behind but that is because he take whatever time he needs with every patient. Bring a good book because he is worth waiting for.

When I have an appointment, I call an hour in advance to find out whether or not he's rumming any where close to time because I don't like to wait an hour. Also, I've been surprised when I see a PA when I thought I had an appointment wiht the doctor. When I do get to see him, I will say that he seems interested and does take the time to listen to me. That's a plus for him.
