Dr. Larry Michael Einbinder, MD

I saw Dr. Einbinder for a year, mostly over telehealth. He was brusk, rude, dismissive, and totally unconcerned with me. He has very poor inter-relational and communication skills: constantly frowning and impatient. Avoid at all costs.

I saw him for an appointment recently and at first he walked past the room, looked at me and did not acknowledge me at all. He came back 10 minutes later and told me to leave and come back with my parent because I am 17 and cannot see doctors without my dad in the room. This is clearly not true as I have many illnesses that require frequent appointments and I always go in alone with my dad in the waiting room. Once he came back he started the appointment, had zero bedside manners and continued to be short with both me and my dad. He left the door to the office open the entire time with other staff and patients walking by who could hear everything I was saying which made me uncomfortable. He ignored all of my symptoms of vertigo and dizziness and told me I just have migraines, then proceeded to prescribe me a medication that can have potentially life-threatening side effects when combined with one of my other medications. The other medication was listed on the sheet I filled out before… going in and he even read it back to me, confirming he knew I was on this medication, but did not address the possibility that these medications combined can sometimes lead to a deadly situation. Do NOT waste your time with this "doctor." I will be seeing a new doctor from here on out.

He has a very poor bedside manner, unbelievably poor communication skills. When I had a problem he never called back. Find another doctor.

Terrible bedside manner! Awfully painful experience! Its time to retire Doc if you can't "care" for your patients!!!!

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Einbinder and it may have been the worst doctors appointment of my life. He was extremely condescending and failed to actually listen to me describe my symptoms. His “exam” was a total of a minute before he said I was fine and that my headaches and migraines would go away over time, despite the fact that I’ve had them for about a year now with little improvement. Additionally, I tried explaining to him that my headaches are caused by stress on my eye muscles, which he said couldn't be the case and that I was wrong. Well, I looked it up and he's simply incorrect - there are numerous studies proving that stress in the lateral rectus muscle as well as the other muscles the eyes can be a contributing factor to chronic and episodic tension type headaches. He acts as if he is an all-knowing god, and gets offended if you don't treat him as such, despite the fact that he fails to stay up to date on the literature in his field. Simply put, he's a… jerk and you should see another doctor who is more up-to-date in their medical knowledge.

If you have any self respect or maintain a modicum of dignity, you deserve a better doctor. Dr. Einbinder is a baby boomer and clearly does not care for keeping up with the times. He is devoid of any bedside manners and gets visibly offended if you don't treat him like God while simultaneously he treats you like a total clueless idiot.

He is the probably the worst you could go to. I used him a few years ago. Not interested in patients care, just there to do unnecessary tests to make money. Never returned multiple calls. Terrible office staff too to add to all this. They may not be getting paid too well. See another doctor, not him.

I'm so glad we didn't pay attention to the negative reviews we read before making our appointment. In our experience, Dr. Einbinder was highly professional, diagnosed a rare condition, got my husband immediately into the hospital for treatment, and fit all follow-up appointments into his already booked schedule. He was literally a life saver!

I've long been suffering a relapsing neurological condition with unknown etiology. My appointment with Dr. Einbinder was very discouraging. I explained to him my symptoms. He just shrugged his shoulders and said he had no idea. That was that. No suggestions, no care plan, no tests, nothing. A year later, and I'm suffering another acute attack with no neurologist to call.

Although he correctly diagnosed the problem, his prescription was incorrect and he insisted that it was appropriate despite it causing disorientation and sleeping most of the time. Fortunately, I found a neurologist who said Einbinder may not be keeping up with current research results.
