Dr. Larry Fishman, MD

Went to him for an ime and he was very, extremely rude! a medical expert he is not. Told him about my pain and my leg automatically swelled on one side, even brought pictures from after the incident and he rudely cut me off and said he doesn't know what caused my leg swelling but it was not from my herniated disc injury?! What kind of expert Dr is he if he is saying a herniated disc does not cause swelling. This is a copy and paste from a google search of herniated disc symptoms.... "Sciatica produces pain in the lower back and down the legs from compression of the sciatic nerve. Other symptoms that can result from sciatic nerve compression or irritation include numbness, tingling, and swelling in the legs. " I think he is a rude individual and I feel sorry for anyone that has to go see him. He is easily flustered and does not answer questions and cuts you off when you speak. Stay away from this guy!!!

This “doctor” refused treatment to my husband because of a tattoo he got when he was a young man, even though he doesn’t believe that way anymore. It is too big to be covered up or removed, and MR. Fishman threw us out of his office in front of our 3 year old. He is a evil, hateful man. A doctor who refuses treatment over something like this should lose his medical license. HE is a promoter of hate and being unforgiving. He’s a disgusting, unforgiving human being. Find a compassionate doctor.

Dr. Fishman and his staff (Rena) is amazing at they do. Did a carpal tunnel release and it went extremely well.

I was suffering from back pain for a long time, went to several chiropractors to see what types of things they can do for me. One chiropractor recommended that I go to see Dr.Fishman. I got an ESI and that helped but the pain did not go away so he told me I needed surgery. I ended up getting the surgery and now I feel amazing, I was so scared first but now I am so glad Dr.Fishman was able to do the surgery for me.

Overall a helpful pleasant and knowledgeable experience. Good experience in a bad situation.

I saw Dr. Fishman to get a second opinion regarding my options for treatment of a herniated disk. He was rude, uncaring and almost argumentative with me from the start. He was unable to answer my straightforward questions and refused to recommend a treatment plan. His cell rang and he answered it in the exam room, walked out and I never saw him again. He was rude, unprofessional and honestly, a total jerk. I felt like he was insulted that I was getting second opinions. I left the office in tears - please don't waste your time with this egotistical pompous doctor.

I am very happy with the expediency with which my procedure was scheduled. Very helpful nursing staff at South Bay Hospital and here in Dr. Fishman's Brandon office.

Dr. Fishman was a second opinion and we are so glad we did. He was very straight forward with regards to my surgery. (I had the same surgery 6 months prior with another physician) My husband and I felt immediate confidence in Dr. Fishman. I feel we made the best choice in choosing him.

I was in horrible pain that I could not live with anymore. Walked in here one day got an appointment immediately, surgery was scheduled quickly and I have my life back.
