Dr Francis is the best! He saved my grandmother's life. He is a true asset to our community.

I had Dr. Francis as a physician a while ago and I was really turned off by the way he treated his staff. He had a student with him once who asked why he was listening to my heart when I came in with a completely unrelated problem and as he was walking out with the student and snidely said "its the art of medicine" and "it just makes them feel better." He was rude to some of the nurses as well. As far as taking care of me, I felt like he did well but I don't think he realizes we can hear him talk about us when he's just outside the hall because I remember him saying things about me that I don't think he would have said directly to my face. As far as medicine goes, he's outstanding. As far as bedside manner, he isn't the greatest but he will take care of you.

He is a great doctor. Don't let age fool you. He listens to what you say and what you don't exactly say. He was able to ease my pain with an OTC/generic drug. It was actually cheaper for me to get a presciption for an OTC based on my insurance. He also made sure the specialist accepted my insurance when making an apt right there in his office. I later went home to research my symptoms on the computer at the advice of a friend. The computer gave me two diagnosis. The Upper GI he had performed was the main test for both of these diagnosis. My follow-up is this coming week. Not to mention he did blood work as well. Which is another key test for both of the potential diagnosis. I must admit I'm hoping its just stress and not one of the actual diagnosis (Ovarian Cancer or Craigns Disease). I would definately recommend this doctor. He is worth your commute. I saw him at the recommendation of a mutual friend of ours. Glad I did.
