They are quick at setting an appointment but the reviews are correct about not keeping appointments. Day of appointment less than 2 hours out they cancel because he has better things to do.

I am giving this place a 1 start because I have no other choice to give them less than that. I waited for an appointment 1 month, calling every other day, and at the end, the secretary said Dr. says he cannot see you because he is too busy with others PT's, just like that. For what I've read she should not be in practice, they lie to you and don't care what happens after they differ you to another clinic. This is just pathetic!!!!

He will be there for you in a pinch

I MADE AN APPOINTMENT , ARRIVED ON TIME WITH THE DOOR LOCKED. I KNOCKED ON THE DOOR AND A LADY UNLOCKED THE DOOR. I TOLD HER I HAD A 4:30 APPT. SHE LOOKED AT ME LIKE I WAS CRAZY. SHE THEN LIED TO ME AND TOLD IT IS NOT POSSIBLE SHE IS THE ONLY PERSON WORKING THERE, BUT I HAD THE RECORDING ON MY PHONE TO PROVE SHE WAS LYING. THEN SHE WALKED AROUND IN A STUPOR, LIKE SHE WAS BESIDES HERSELF. I SAID" I WOULD LIKE TO RESCHEDULE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT", AND SHE SAID, " NO FIRST I NEED TO SPEAK TO DR GOLD AND WILL CALL YOU TO MAKE AN APPT. OF COURSE SHE NEVER CALLED. THIS LADY DID NOT APOLOGIZE, FOR MY HOUR OF DRIVING AND SEEMED TO BE TOTALLY OUT OF IT!! I KNOW WERE IN COLORADO BUT THIS IS BEYOND ACCEPTABLE AND VERY DISRESPECTFUL TO PATIENTS. THEY SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN.

The secretary is there during the day and Dr. Gold arrives in the evening for the appointments. They don't work at the same time so communication is not that great. Although you have an appointment day, you are not scheduled for a "time." It depends on what time he gets there and how long he spends with the patients before you. He is very knowledgeable and helpful once you do see him.

It seems you can't count on the doctor being there for your appointment, he may or may not be able to make it!!!! what ?!

This doctor and his practice are odd at best. Typically you get an appointment day then call to see what time he is coming in. The receptionist usually leaves before his patients arrive. You walk into an all white reception area and wait alone. It's like the twilight zone. Then you can hear a voice talking in the back...sometimes to a patient sometimes to himself or a recorder. Either way you wait...and wait.... And wait some more...then you WAIT...when you are finally greeted by the doctor Nhe does a fine job collecting medical info. An eccentric Einstein type. If you are looking to wait and like strange experiences it doesn't get better than this. Note: Bring plenty to read and Some sort of personal security device...it frightening waiting alone an empty building and sterile waiting room.

Though I've seen this man for many years, he is convinced that some of my symptoms are in my head due to stress. I never have these symptoms unless they are associated with my endocrine issues. But he's "seen 1000's of patients just like me," so he should know what he's talking about. There was no, "hmmm, lets try something like..." or making suggestions to explore other ideas. I'm finding a different doc.

Every appointment I had was anywhere from 1 hour, 1/2 a day, to completely rescheduled. I needed to talk to him about my results and he couldn't see me because he was so back logged, not because he spends time with his patients, because he was late coming in for his appointments. I got my results, which were not helpful and never saw him again. I asked the woman on the phone is she could just give me my results over the phone and she stated it was professional and I told her it wasn't professional not make a patient wait by the phone all day for their appointment, then cancel it. - which pretty much sums up this doctor.
