Dr. Larry Ted Halem, MD

I met Dr. Halem when I was having tightness and inflamation behind my.. This was after taking a fall some days before. He struck me as concerned and very knowledgeable right away and I.was so impressed. He was like Dr. Kildare, my favorite tv doctor as a kid He did everything right--the perfect doctor. If you are fortunate to be treated by him, you will know what I mean. .

This Dr should have been a reincarnation..must be Dr megeles grandson.....to bad I can't put negative stars...avoid him at all costs....doesn't care about patients.... Just the money

Dr. H barely blinked at me when I was in the ER for a mild case of pharyngitis. He quickly prescribed Clindamycin, and trusting this doctor, I got the prescription filled and took it only to realize that this is for the treatment of "serious blood, bone, joint, lung, or pelvic infections." It gave me unremitting diarrhea, his own colleagues were baffled by his prescription and I was immediately switched to something milder but it has done its damage - two weeks on and still suffering, possible C-diff infection. Horrible. I was treated like a piece of meat. Worst experience like this in my life.

As this was the first time I'd ever been treated by Dr. Halem, and since I was seen in the Emergency Room, some of these questions really don't apply. However, I was so impressed with this doctor's caring, his thoroughness, and most of all, that he really listened to me. I went online to see if he had a practice outside of the ER, because he is precisely the kind of MD I would want to see on a regular basis. If only all other doctors were like Dr. Halem. He's one of a kind.
