Resolved my problem with conservative treatment while two other ENT physicians recommended surgery . He took his time and listened to me then explained my options .Highly recommend Dr Marcus

I saw Dr. Marcus a while back, but just now writing a review as I didn't agree with what others wrote. Dr. Marcus took his time to listen. Not only did he display professionalism, but he was able to provide a caring attitude as he listened to my problem. Dr. Marcus was was overly cautious in not to hurt and/or injure me while using the scope down my nose into my throat. I found that he does his job well and with a caring disposition. Thumbs up!

I've had a chronic ear infection for a very long time - Dr. Marcus was the first ENT who accurately diagnosed what was wrong with me - and within a couple of weeks my ear is finally starting to feel normal. He is kind and empathetic while being direct and honest. I love that he always asks me if there is anything else we missed talking about at the end of the appointment. Highly recommend.

Don't understand those other reviews. He is personable and excellent.

I went in to see Dr.M with an open mind even after I had read the previous reviews. Upon entering the room the doctor just started examining me without even introducing himself, he then proceeded to reach for these metal instruments to stick into my nose without even making sure that I was comfortable or relaxed. This doctor had zero bedside manner and also zero personality. I convinced him that I was fine and got the ##**& up out of there as soon as I could! By the way the nursing staff was superb & friendly.

Probably one of the worst doctors I have ever seen. Completely uncompassionate. I went there with problems of imbalance, dizziness, and tinnitus that I had for about six weeks. He cleaned wax out of my ears that caused my dizziness to get so severe I felt I was bring spun around the room in every direction. Put me into a total panic attack for both ear cleanings. Because I had no nystsgmus during these horrid episodes, he flat out told me I had nothing wrong with my inner ears. And basically dismissed me. Gave me antivert, which didn't work for me. I've had this problem 2 or 3 times in the past 15 years and low dose valium worked well for me. I asked him to prescribe valium after taking the antivert for two weeks without relief , and he refused to prescribe it. He is rude and ignorant!

Dr. Marcus seemed to be in a rush. He spent a total of 3 seconds looking at my throat. Then he decided that, although my tonsils were swollen, I should just use a mouthwash to minimize tonsil stones. He decided they weren't swollen enough to take out. He said there was no cure and showed no sympathy or care. I did not even care if he had sympathy, but I would have appreciated if he would have asked more questions and actually listened to what I had to say. He rushed the appointment and interrupted me every time I addressed a concern.

Excellent in diagnosing the problem. Recommended treatment that was effective. He was friendly, caring and there was no wait time.

I was refferred to Dr. Marcus by a friend, but was a little concerned after reading some of this reviews. I ended up trusting my friend, and went.He was wonderful. Spent a lot of time wiht me, was patient, very caring, didn't rush although there were a lotof people waiting in the office waiting room. Very professional, and took care of my issue totally. He's not the kind to talk down to you or treat you like a child - not arrogant at all. I really appreciated his honest, straightforward manner.He was so easy to talk to, I told him I was kind of surprised because of what I had read on this website. He became a little sad - he said there are always patients who get angry that he doesn't tell them what they want to hear, and he isn't the type of doctor that gives patients whatever they want if they don't need it, and that him being honest and blunt with the patiet makes them mad. He said he thinks theres a few paitients purposely giving him bad reviews out of spite, but he will… never become the kind of doctor that does whatever the patient wants in order to keep them happy if it isn't going to help them, because then they'd get even angrier if they still had the problem.I usually don't write on these kind of things, but had to this time because clearly the bad reviews on this doctor are just wrong, and this is my small way to try to make things right.Go see for yourself.
