Appalling. I was 37 when he examined me and claimed that I might be going through menopause. He then silenced me and said he would come back for my questions. 45 minutes later, still waiting in the examination room and devastated that I might not ever have children, I discovered that everyone on the floor had left except for him. He was surprised to see me. He had clearly forgotten me and had not planned on returning to answer my questions. He said that I didn't have much fertile time left and if I wanted kids, there was a bar around the corner with plenty of men. At the time, I was still on Tamoxifen, which is harmful to a fetus (not to mention the comment was outrageously inappropriate). My gynecologist assured me I was not going through menopause. The whole encounter left me shaken and infuriated.
