Dr. Larry Duane Rothenberger

Larry Rothenberger, DDS Dr. Rothenberger graduated from Loyola College of Dental Surgery in Chicago in 1973. He opened his private practice the following year, where he strives to provide quality patient care utilizing top quality products and procedures. Over the past 38 years, he has received advanced training in TMJ (temporomandibular joint disorder), orthodontics (braces), and placement of 3M mini dental implants. He is also a graduate of the Contemporary Esthetics program at Baylor University in Texas. At Baylor he studied with Dr. Larry Rosenthal, "The Dentist to the Stars." Dr. Rothenberger also taught for three years at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Rothenberger attends 4-6 courses a year to expand his education on the latest cosmetic and orthodontic techniques as well as on new materials. He earns 60-100 hours a year in continuing education while only 10-15 hours are required. This commitment benefits you through beautiful and longer lasting smile designs. He …has received his fellowship in orthodontics from the International Association for Orthodontics, and just recently received his master’s certification in straight wire orthodontics after two years of study. Dr. Rothenberger is also a member of the American Academy for Functional Orthodontics. Outside of the office, Dr. Rothenberger likes to stay involved with the community. He is Past President of the Frankfort Kiwanis, a past member of the Chamber of Commerce and a past member of the Open Door Health Clinic Board. He is also an elder at the 1st Presbyterian Church of Frankfort. He is also currently on staff at the St. Vincent Hospital Frankfort.  Above all, he enjoys quality time spent with his family, and he throws in the occasional fly-fishing trip when time permits.
