Good if you can't find another.guess he's ok at his job,very poor bedside manner

After many months of painful visits and a procedure with Dr Straton I had to get a second opinion so dr Susaki quickly discovered that I had a deep fissure. He corrected it with surgery. He saved my life

Liked Dr. Sasaki a lot, but we've seen him twice and the wait time was ridiculous! Front staff is average, not unfriendly but not friendly. They don't seem to pay attention to those checking in. We waited for an hour and someone who came in after us went in before we did. Nurses were nice and friendly. Follow up after tests was not impressive. Don't believe he looked at the results until he was in the room with us. But he was on top of things after that and spent time with us answering questions, etc. Results indicated the need for another doctor at this time, and we will have to follow up with Dr. Sasaki again later.

The only negative I have to say was there was a long wait time for my first appointment. I figure since I got the appointment pretty quick I was probably worked into a already full schedule. The important part is my colonoscopy went better than I thought it would.

Dr. Sasaki has always been very nice to us as is his staff. I have been well pleased with his handling of our problems and the concern he shows. I would recommend him to others.

I ENDED UP GOING TO ALEX., LA AND WAS SEEN BY A GASTRO. GROUP THERE AT RAPIDES REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER WHO FIGURED IT OUT IN LESS THAN THREE DAYS AND I HAD SEEN SASAKI FOR ALMOST A YEAR........... ALL HE COULD WORRY ABOUT WAS TRYING TO PLEASE WHOEVER HE SEEM TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON HIS CELL PHONE WITH WHILE AT THE HOSPITAL TO MAKE HIS ROUNDS... (ALSO HE LOVES SPORTING HIS SNAKE SKIN BOOTS IN HIS SCRUBS) HE IS A JOKE, TRUST ME, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IF YOU HAVE MAJOR HEALTH ISSUES AND NEED MORE THAN A BAND-AID......

I was 16 when i had my gall bladder removed. He treated me very well and made the ultimate scary experience (first surgery) into something that wasnt too terrible. He has a good heart and is an excellent surgeon.
