Condescending and a know-it-all. Lacks knowledge in various areas and doesn’t refer to other doctors. A danger to patients Almost completely misdiagnosed my pneumonia and I had to go back 4 times to get an answer. The whole time I was gasping for breath and now have scar tissue in my lungs as a result

Dr. Schoenfeld is a very caring and giving physician. He is genuinely concerned about his patients and his personal touch is very reassuring. A pleasure and privilege to have him as my personal physician.

The office is efficient and his assistant, Natalie, is great. That's about it. He dismisses all concerns. I used to go in and prioritize the things I needed to talk to him about, only to have him dismiss them. Last time, I made a list and he still did not address any of my issues (one of which has required extensive care). He has put things on my chart that I do not have and there's no way that I would ever have gotten them. He won't remove them. He is computer incompetent. He does not follow through on labs or tests unless you push for answers. I feel like I'm working much harder to manage my health than he is.

As others have written, I don't feel he answers questions and concerns, even when you have a list. He often says he doesn't know what to do. He doesn't refer you to someone? who may be able to help. It's not pleasant to be in constant pain! He does give that condescending smile. The patient summary has diagnosis that are incorrect which was brought to his attention and the "teaching" listed on the summary haven't happened!

Like another reviewer, I feel I am not listened to. You're better off if you bring a list of concerns and questions. That way you can get the answers. If you don't do this, be prepared for no answers and an almost condescending smile

I frequently get the feeling that Dr. Schoenfeld is ignoring me or trying to pacify me with his responses. He didn't check into three complaints I had made, all of which are fairly serious. Luckily I was able to get second opions

I am very disappointmented in the care my father has received. Dr. Schoenfeld withheld my fathers Luekimia from him for one year. It was brought to my fathers attention through the VA. He does not return phone calls and erases them when not interested in answering questions. I would not recommend him at all.
