I served as a private scrub nurse for Dr. Larry Stevens for 12 years, I chose to leave as his nurse and work collaboratively with my husband Mark, in Real Estate, but wanted to share my experiences as a patient of Dr. Stevens as well. Dr. Stevens has operated on multiple family members, including my oldest son, my ex husband, my father-in -in law x 2, my grandmother, my ex-husbands aunt, as well as myself 2 times for an inguinal hernia as well as a gallbladder removal. Having experiences with many physicians in my 42 years of life, I know and understand the difference between good and excellent. Dr. Larry Stevens is by far the most excellent surgeon I have ever known. His skills in the operating room are stellar, he takes time to listen and respect the concerns of his patients and takes the time to explain all aspects of their care. If I run across anyone needing the care of a general surgeon, I recommend Dr. Stevens! Working side by side with him for 12 years was an honor and I… can't say enough good about him!

Wonderful doctor!

Dr. Larry Stevens is a liar and a manipulator. I went to see him about a Gallbladder surgery and he solicited another surgery I did not need. He could fix both problems at the same time. I am on disability due to his negligence. No diagnostic testing for the solicited surgery because he later sent me a questionaire to complete with his medical sponsor Ethicon Endo commissioning the study. I never needed a Fundooplication Surgery. He does not take responsiblity for the critical complications which put me on permanent and complete disability for the solicited surgery. He may know how to handle the scapel, but he will use it when you don't need it to be used. He is "cut happy". He looks innocent, but if he does something wrong to you, you are his biggest enemy.
