Dr. Larry Miller Wolford, DDS

I know there are many negative reviews online about Dr. Wolford, but I recommend not putting much emphasis on them. Yes, he is expensive and doesn’t take insurance which shoots the price up even further, and sometimes there can be some other problems, but he is the best of the best when it comes to jaw surgery. In my case, he truly saved me. I was a very young teenager who had such bad jaw problems that I could not function and went to him as a last resort after seeing multiple oral surgeons who refused to operate on me due to the complexity and severity of my case. He was the only one willing to operate, and really worked a miracle with my surgery, as most could not have done what he was able to do. Going through as major of a surgery as I did was challenging, especially at 14, but he made it as seamless as he could. 4.5 years later, I haven’t had a single problem, and my jaws are holding up perfectly. He said I would eventually be able to eat steak and sure enough, while I started… being able to only open my mouth about 10mm before surgery and could barely eat anything, he was right. I am in awe of my final results and could not be happier with the way my face/smile has turned out. I will never be able to thank him enough for all he has done for me and am extremely grateful to have found him. He walked me through the process carefully and made sure I knew what was going on at each step, while reassuring me about any concerns and monitoring me very carefully. Right after surgery he was seeing me every day, then every other day, then every week, and finally we graduated to every few months and then each year. I continue to have yearly follow-ups just to make sure everything is still on track. His precision for detail and accuracy is truly amazing, and he has a beautiful way of working with his hands that no one else does. He clearly wants to give you the best possible results and will do whatever he can to get your jaws as perfect as possible. He has been one of the kindest, most compassionate, most caring doctors I have ever seen, and is the gentlest person I have ever met. He is the reason I can now talk, chew, eat, breathe, open my mouth, and function without problems, and I really don’t know where I would be today without him. I believe it is worth every single penny to be treated by such a talented and wonderful surgeon. It is no wonder he is known internationally for his work and regarded as one of the best in his field. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs any jaw surgery, especially if it is complicated. He can do what no one else can, and truly saved me.

My journey starts when I was 12 and my parents told me I would need to get jaw surgery for my overbite sometime into the future. In my early 20's through early 30's I had been through numerous surgery's (5 to be exact) with other oral surgeons who had cheap surgery costs but they never fixed my overbite. One of my trips to my dentist ended with my dentist telling me that I should see Dr. Wolford and of course I was skeptical due to my 5 surgery's that did not fix my severe overbite. He than told me that Dr. Wolford was the best oral surgeon in the country and that many people who have also had failed corrections go to him and with his world renown technique that he came up with he is able to fix the mistakes previous surgeons have made. Dr. Wolford is not only the best in the country he has been performing surgery's for around 40 years. I found the customer service to be great, his wife does a good job at informing the customers everything that undergoes in their office. I had some… follow up meetings with Dr. Wolford and than it was time for me to have my total joint replacement. the recovery was rough as expected but I was so glad that I chose to have the surgery done with Dr. Wolford. This experience has completely changed my life and will change many lives. Dr. Wolford is the greatest oral surgeon in the country and deserves nothing less than a 5 star rating. I am being led to believe that all of these 1 star reviews might be fake as Dr. Wolford's wife has replied that she does not see their names on the file list.

Dr. Wolford is the best in the world at orthognathic surgery. At 13, I had surgery and it changed my life! I no longer have severe headaches, sleep apnea, low energy and a sad outlook on life. I am happy, energetic and I can never thank Dr. Wolford enough for giving me back my happy life.

Dr. Wolford changed my life. I learned that he is known all over the world, and there is a reason. No other surgeon like him.
