Lars O. Bouma, D.D.S.
Dr. Bouma was born in Texas and completed most of his education in the Lone Star State. He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1994 and continued his training with a GPR program at the VA hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. In 1995 he joined the U. S. Air Force as a general dentist. Within a short time, Dr. Bouma was accepted into the Prosthodontic Residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base. In 2000 he graduated and received his certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
After graduation, he relocated to Omaha, Nebraska and was stationed at Offutt Air Force Base. While there, Dr. Bouma served as Chief of Prosthodontics, Dental Laboratory Flight Commander, and Assistant Director for the AEGD Residency. After serving his country for eleven years, he separated from the United States Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel and joined Implant & …Prosthodontic Associates August 1, 2006.
Dr. Bouma is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and is Board Certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. He has published in several journals and has lectured nationally on multiple facets of prosthodontics.
