Snippy when I did not answer her questions exactly. Another dr. In same practice said I had RA, she said I have OA, who which is it? Said my sleep apnea causing arthritis.

I had seen an orthopedic dr. at same practice a couple of years ago. He referred me to a Rhuematologist. I am a busy mom, so just getting around to it now as can't take pain anymore. So all Dr. Zaputowycz did was ask me questions she "READ" off her computer screen. One of the questions was "Any numbness and tingling in hands?" I said "tingling, yes, but no numbness". She says nastily "I said numbness AND tingling" - I wanted to walk out right there. Basically said my problem was osteoarthritis and nothing can help me because I am allergic to nsaids and they don't give steroids. Can you doctors at this practice get your stories straight? Offered nothing to help me with pain. This is a shameful practice.

After mri showed a major disease, she had her admin call to tell me to go to an orthopedist. Inappropriate because it is a rheumatic disease that can not be resolved through surgery. She never gave me the rheumatic diagnosis, did not explain anything, and did not recommend a treatment plan. Showed no concern at all for my major rheumatic disease or me.

very punctual for self and no slack for new patients that arrive 10 minutes late even when there was no one in the waiting room or front desk. I was the first patient of the day at 7:45am

Listens and explains what is being done and ordered. Answers your questions and concerns.

I miss Dr. Z. A very good doctor, I wish I knew where she went. Certainly not getting any info from Bergen Medical. Stone walled. I miss her!

I have been going to Dr. Zaputowycz for 16 years and was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 42. In the beginning she took her time to make sure my self-diagnosis was accurate. She listened well to everything I had to say and proceeded with many tests to accurately make her diagnosis. She is thorough, polite, respectful and sympathetic. She was able to put my Rheumatoid Arthritis in check and have been able to continue life without pain because of her. She stays on top of my disease with the same routine at my checkups to make sure I was always on track. I don't know what I would have done without her.

I never met a rheumatologist who squeezes a person's joints. She spends her time looking at the computer screen when you are in her office. Asks the same questions at every office visit. this entire practice is money driven. you, the patient, are on a conveyer belt. just move along and give us money.

The Dr. didn't listen to what I had to say and was dismissive of me. I left feeling discusted and would not recommend this Dr. to anyone
