Dr. Laszlo Szollas, MD

I’m in constant pain, unable to sleep for weeks, unable to work, have significant loss of feeling/function in one leg and my groin, but Mountain Valley refuses to prescribe anything for pain or proceed with surgery despite surgery being the advised, agreed upon course of treatment from both a doctor at another practice and several of the medical personnel at Mountain Valley. Instead, they ignored my repeated voicemails and wasted my time and money with endless “consults” in which no one is willing to answer my questions. I have been sent in endless circles while I continue to suffer with zero quality of life. Dr. Laszlo Szollas, however, is the absolute worst of the bunch. He wouldn’t answer a single question about my treatment and, ultimately, told me: “Either we are doing this (the epidural) or not. I don’t care either way. It’s lunch time so I need to go.” I'm not sure he's even competent enough to understand what he's doing since he was unable to explain what was in the injection… or the mechanism by which it works. In fact, he couldn't even tell me what was in the injection. He just kept saying: "Nothing is 100%."

My brother,who is physically disabled and mentally impaired, had an appt. with Dr.Laszio after he cancelled twice. While my brother did become loud and irritated waiting for the dr, he would have calmed down. Dr laszio opened the door and said two words " get out" to my brother. NO patient, handicapped or not, should be treated like this.

I could write so much about my experience with Dr. Laszlo Szollas and his incompetent and poorly trained staff. Suffice to say, go elsewhere! As stated in other posts, he does flee the room without spending any time with the patient; even when his poorly trained medical assistant misstates the purpose of your visit. You will pay good money to be treated horribly!

Dr. Szollas was only concern about providing future injections and medications to mask the pain versus identifying the real problem. He is a very poor listener.

've been seeing Dr. Szollas for some time now at the request of Dr. Williams. He has been extremely rude to me on the majority of my appointments because I do not want to receive pain injections. On one visit, he told me I should, 'man up' and get the injection. I've been in tears in his office because of how he speaks to me. I've never met a doctor so unprofessional and uncaring! He rarely reviews my medications I am on to even see how they affect me, etc. He just comes in and keeps trying to push these injections and every time I say no, he gets mad and practically runs out of the room! My last appointment I tried to ask him a question about why they are not FDA approved and he got madder and instead of discussing my question with me, told me 'I read too much!' I have my personal reasons why I do not and will not receive these injections, and he does not care how I feel. I have avoided leaving a review on Dr. Szollas because I see another Dr. In this office and with… hopes he will stop being so disrespectful! He doesn't care about me as a patient and every appointment he just gets worse!! I have extreme anxiety just going to these visits, and I've had it! No patient should be forced to receive a procedure they do not want to benefit a doctor financially!

From the very first time we met, he treated me with respect and did not dismiss my pain, like other than doctors had done. I would recommend him anyone. My husband sees him too. I truly trust and admire him and you will too.

I have seen Dr. szollas for 3 years. I was actually fed up with his medical assistant Jaime. She was rude and unladylike like. I went in for my appointment one day and Jaime was gone!!!! His assistant Kirsten is a pleasure to work with. She cares about my health and well being. She always relays my message to the doctor and helps explain my insurance issues with me. I needed an authorization on my one medication, she had it done within an hour. I have nothing bad to say anymore.

I have had nothing but the best care from Dr. Szollas and his staff. Even when there are back-ups in the waiting room the staff have remained calm and caring. Dr. Szollas has been very professional and describes everything he suggests for the pain in my back and side. First time in 20 years I have found some type of relief from the pain and happy I was referred to this Dr. Always available for any questions or concerns.
