Hi, I'm a doctorally prepared Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating various mental health conditions. I obtained Bachelor's Degrees in Nursing and Psychology from Chicago State University in Illinois. I also obtained a Master's degree in nursing from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2016 and became board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner the same year. I attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville where I obtained my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). I also have extensive education and background in treating patients from ages 8 and up. My evidence-based approach to treatment encourages moments of self-reflection and prioritizing beneficial personal relationships. For nearly a decade, I have proven time-and-time again that this approach is an invaluable asset to those struggling with mental illness during trying times.
