Dr. Latonya James, MD

I can't speak to the experiences the other reviewers have had, but I found Dr. James to be an efficient and thorough provider of care - she does get to the point which I like, and she explained everything in plain language. She didn't judge me for having an anxiety disorder (which some doctors have) and she really helped with getting me the right balance and also pushed me to seek talk therapy to help develop non-chemical ways of working with anxiety.

Dr. James is in my opinion, clearly in the field for financial gain. She lacks the ability to communicate with patients & doesn't take the necessary time to elevate a patient. I felt like a number. I was totally taken back by here attitude. I cannot refer anyone to Dr. James in good conscience.

Completely dissatisfied with the demeanor, lack of basic courtesy, and over all arrogance which is obviously not in accordance with competence. She spends very little time, and makes no effort to get to know the patient as a person, she is belittling and condescending, as an intelegent man I found the entirely unacceptable, if she were in my employ I would fire her immediately for the sake of business.

Dr. James made me feel very uncomfortable. She presented herself to be very cold and uncaring, to my dismay. Her attitude was horrible and she seemed to be confused and scattered. I received little feedback from her, as she hurried me out of the room. Dr. James lacks empathy and I will never put myself through another appointment with her.
