Dr. Latoya Walton-Torrence, MD

I loved Dr. Torrence she and her staff made me feel welcomed . Everyone showed concern about my concerns as well as they gave me information about other doctors to seek in the area. I went home telling all my family I wanted them to come see Dr. Torrence when choosing a doctor bed side manner is very important to me .Being a doctor is much more than a check for her and I’m thankful I wanted the few months to get in to see her .

LONG wait to just get an appointment(2 months). LONG wait to actually see doc once at the practice(1+hrs). Spent no more than 10minutes in the exam room. No education unless you press for understanding.

I am under Dr. Torrence's care for my 4th pregnancy. She is fantastic but her office seriously takes away from that. I've dealt with lost documents, misplaced orders, miscommunications, & absolutely insane wait times. My shortest wait has been over 1 hour & longest has been more than 2 hours. I feel super comfortable with Dr. Torrence but the drive time that it takes me to get to her & the hassle in the office has me tentatively seeking care elsewhere.

Dr. Torrence is very detailed and thorough. I truly appreciated this. She has been wonderful for me and my family. I know my gynecological health is in great hands.

I had a very difficult pregnancy and this doctor was very attentive, very detail oriented and extraordinarily kind. She remembers you when you come in, takes her time with you and makes you feel comfortable. She's incredible at staying on top of things and doesn't waste any time getting anything done. Her bedside manner is the best. I won't go to anyone else. Definitely recommend her.

I love Dr. Torrence. She just delivered my daughter in July. It was a rough labor (not in any way due to Dr. Torrence) and ended up with a C-section. But the whole time I felt like she was taking excellent care of me. I was never at risk and neither was my baby. She is very kind and encouraging. I will agree that the wait time at the office is WAY TOO LONG. But once in the exam room, all three of doctors spent as much time answering my questions as I needed. I would reccomend Dr. Torrence to anyone!

Dr. Walton-Torrence is a very intelligent, empathetic, and honest physician.She helped me with some very difficult times, medical issues and medical resolutions with her level of medical competence, unconditional positive regard and pleasing personality.

This is my first pregnancy and the clinic is a nightmare. You wait forever then are rushed through your appointment. I've had to literally yell at the doctors that I've seen as they are running out the door to the next patient about questions that I've had. No education unless you ask. Terrible ob clinic!

I saw this doctor for about 3 years and every time I went the wait was longer and longer. She spent very little time with me & seemed to be in a hurry. I also was outside of her office to find Dr.Voss going through my charts that we laid on the counter. I have nothing to hide but thought it was very unproffessional. I am in the process of changing doctors and am glad I have other great options to one day deliver my children. FYI I know people in the same field and nurses have told me they would never let them deliver their children. I do not want a doctor who would throw a woman in labor under the knife because she had an event to attend!!

My experience with Dr. Latoya Torrence was not very good. I waited over 2 hours at one of my office visits, and typically waited about an hour or more; then she spent very little time with me. I had been having pain for almost a year before I finally saw her, and she was hesitant to perform a laporoscopy to diagnose the problem. She eventually did at my persistence, and it turned out I had endometriosis. She said she was glad that we went ahead with it. It took me forever to get appointments with her. She was not sympathetic with the pain I was in.
