Dr. Laura Leonard Adams, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Adams for several years, but have finally decided to seek healthcare from a different provider. Her office staff experiences high turnover, and has often been rude and hostile to deal with in the past. I had an experience where I was kept waiting to see the doctor (in the reception area) for over an hour and then told there were still 3 patients ahead of me before I finally gave up on waiting and left. Her nurse and billing personnel do not return phone calls in a timely manner, if at all. Her nurse dropped the ball on following-up with a prescription renewal and did not send adequate paperwork/justification requested by the insurance company, so the insurance refused to pay for the prescription. Dr. Adams has had me come see her ever 3-4 months to keep tabs on my BP and other issues. Despite having regular lab work and visits, she did not code a single visit in 2019 as a "wellness" visit, which is going to screw me over with my employer's premium… policy of having a wellness visit performed by X date. When the doctor finally sees you, it's for a brief period of time, maybe 5-10 minutes at the most. I'll give her high marks for her bedside manner. I feel like she and her staff do not follow-up on care, and that I'm just a payment and not a person.

Both are horrible on listening to the patient, both rude, and both liars. they don't have caring for their patience. Don't trust this doctor. She just don't care for any of her patients. I cannot give her not even half star. But the website cannot submit my review unless i give her a rating, there is no other choice but one star. SHE DON'T DESERVE NOT EVEN ONE STAR. Wait time is ok. Ease of appointment don't call because those idiot staff put you on hold and might as well drive there and you will have faster service. Promptness > > they are clueless Courteous staff > they don't know how to greet, they just don't care, unfriendly. Accurate diagnosis for how many years I have been seeing her I end up fixing my self. Bedside manner > Laura Adams is the most dry, boring, and uncaring person. Spends time >>> REALLY! SHE DON'T CARE! IT SHOWS ON HER FACIAL GESTURE! Follow up visits she had no time. she even forgot referral to a specialist or her nurse lied to her.

She is a good doctor.

Very poor diagnois and she does not do what she tells she will do for you. Says she does not prescribe pain medicine but she does to the patients she wants to and only refuses the ones she does not want to give them to. Do not recommend this doctor to anyone .
