Dr. Laura M Calvi, MD

Be careful of this place. I had papers in my chart that stayed there. Since I was coming in for a visit they remained there. There was one level that was in low and should have been flagged. I never got a call. The paper and results of tests remained in my chart. When I did go in 3 years later to see this Dr. Calvi, she never discussed these levels as the chart was gone out of my chart. My new level was a bit off but still she did not discuss that with me either. I am very frustrated with her and the way they run things at that clinic.

The office is clean and the staff is friendly however this doesn't make up for the inordinate wait time. Or the fact Dr. Calvi is oblivious to your wait and then spends about 5 minutes actually with you. I didn't wait 2 + hours to answer a huge amount of questions by a bunch of residents (I wasn't asked if this was ok beforehand) and then have her spend less than 10 minutes with me. After numerous appointments that all followed the same path I found someone else that was smart and friendly. I would suggest others do the same.

I spent a lot of time waiting for her. Then in walk two residents or learning doctors whom I thought asked too many unrelated questions as to what I actually came in for. I did not care for the way they did things in the office. (like I handed them cash and they said I would get a receipt on the way out?) I found Dr. Calvi, with her Harvard degree. factual and pretty much "at a loss" as to "why" I was having on-going symptoms which brought me to her in the first place. Seemed disinterested at finding out why... I will never forget her "blank stare" when I asked her WHY am I having this and she looks at me and says "I don't know". I thought to myself...a Harvard Grad, an Endocrinologist at that, and that's say? I knew from the beginning I had a bad feeling about this practice with all the testing they make you do BEFORE you even see them.
