Dr. Laura Christina Cauthen, MD

Dr. Cauthen is the best. She is always concerned and really listens and talks to you about what is going on with you. Even when I only see her once a year, she always remembers me and asks me about aspects of my life that we have talked about in the past. That is really important to me, feeling like my doctor cares enough that they actually know my name and remember me even if I barely see them.

Dr. Cauthen is an amazing Dr. I saw her long before my first child was born and she was awesome through those years. She kept me sane through my first pregnancy and help with all of the after care and emotions that come along with being a new mom. Now I’m pregnant with my second child and have had some difficulties throughout this pregnancy, but Dr. Cauthen has again kept me sane. She has given me piece of mind, good direction, and a good laugh with every visit.

Wonderful doctor! Recently performed a surgical procedure for me. Explained all of the ins and outs of the procedure beforehand, answered all my questions after, and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable while at the hospital. She also delivered my now 7 year old! Wonderful bedside manner and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

I was told multiple times by Dr. Cauthen that she did not have time to hear about my gynecological problems (which was the sole purpose of my appointment that I waited 2 months for!). The few times she didn't tell me how little time she had to hear about my issues, she spoke down to me and treated me like I was stupid. The second part of the visit was even worse, because I then was given a pap smear (that I was never told I was getting nor was it the reason for my visit!). I would never recommend her to anyone!

I was real impressed with Dr. Cauthen's whole experience. I didn't have to wait long. The nurse was very friendly. The Doctor was very pleasant and seemed eager to answer any questions that I had. I really enjoyed everything. From the moment I arrived till the time I left, the whole time went real smoothly. I not only would recommend this Doctor but I will also take my girls to see her. She is a five star doctor as far as I am concerned.

Was told to go see a General Surgeon for endometreosis - a GYN disease!! Was made to wait over an hour, unclothed in exam room.I fired her today! Looking for a new doctor.
