Dr. Laura Sorana Mos Chang, MD

Save yourself the headache and wasted time and go to a real doctor. Got to the appointment 30 mins or so early for the paperwork, with the not so friendly staff, then they took in everyone that walked in after me (4 patients, after I turn in all the paperwork and was waiting to see the doctor), made me wait 2.5 hrs!! Then told me what I have is nothing, and asked if I wanted some lotion for it. This is after I saw a real doctor that told me that I need to see a dermatologist because it's concerning. What a waste of time. Maybe if I wanted some Botox or lip implants, like the posters in the office advertise, it would have been more appealing to her wallet. Save yourself some time and go to a real doctor that knows what they are talking about.

Dr. Chang is a great doctor. Before seeing her, I went through several specialists that were unable to diagnose my condition. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and empathetic; I felt at ease under her care. She explains conditions and treatments very well giving you both the pros and cons. She values your opinion and includes you in the treatment plan. She is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had and I highly recommend her.

She is a horrible doctor. Do not see her. She diagnosed me incorrectly and prescribed me with a strong medication that ruined my skin and now have to see more doctors to help me. She rushes all of her appts and doesnt care at all about her patients. I regret ever seeing her. I warn you. Do not see ever see this doctor.

Dr Chang is wonderful! She is very thorough, and answers all your questions. Calm demeanor and very nice.

Dr. Chang was wonderful. I'm so happy to have been referred to her by my primarcy care physician at Healthcare Partners. She is gentle, informative, and encouraging. I went to see her for a biopsy.

Am at a loss to see Dr Chang has one star ratings. Do not fault a doctor for occasional wait. Things happen. She is kind and friendly. I feel confident she meets my health needs . So many low ratings have no comment ... what's the problem then ?

I've been to many doctors in the SGV area with my skin disorder and no one was able to treat my conditions properly. Most dermatologist spent 3 minutes with me and never listen to my side of the story. They will look at my skin and tell me this is the classical case of skin rash and give me hydrocortisone cream. This never worked. Dr. Laura Chang was different. She took her time with me and really seemed she cared. She ran multiple test and find the underlying cause of my issue. I can't say enough good things about her. Very caring and knowledgeable doctor.

Dr. Chang is very thorough and conscientious. I have a history of basal cell carcinomas and need check-ups every 6 months. I switched to her after my previous doctor moved and I was transferred to a doctor whose exam of me was so cursory that I did not trust his evaluation that I was clear to wait a year before another check-up. Dr. Chang spotted a basal cell carcinoma on my neck and recommended a biopsy by a plastic surgeon for another suspicious spot on my lower eye lid. She explains her observations and recommendations with clarity and answered all my questions; she is incredibly easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable and confident in her diagnoses and highly recommend her!

My first visit to a dermatologist was with Dr. Chang. She gave me a very thorough exam and took photos of areas in question. My follow up visit was equally as thorough and I appreciated the time Dr Chang took to compare the photos she took with my current skin status. She explained many things and answered all my questions. She was very patient.
