Dr. Laura Elizabeth Cipa, DO

I unfortunately met this doctor in the emergency room at a most desperate time. She treated me like I was stupid. She was rude, condescending and offered no help. I absolutely cannot believe that she has been hired by any practice. She has no compassion and apparently alot more important things to be doing. Why go through all the time and money of medical school if you have no interest in helping people?

I came in the other day and all she could say to me was stupid was I, and she was alarmist trying to tell me what to do with my life, seems as if she has no compassion with her patients. Hope to never be in her care again

I normally have 0 problem going to the doctors, or even the hospital, when I need to and have never complained at any past visit, but they say there is a first for everything! I saw Dr Cipa at her Macomb MI location and from the very beginning I got a bad impression from her. Most of the nurses and staff that I interacted with were wonderful, but Dr Cipa was overwhelming. She made me feel as though my description of symptoms was wrong, and that I wasn’t explaining how I was feeling properly. She was very loud and gruff and didn’t have any warmness to her whatsoever. I was hooked up to the heart rate/bp monitors and every time I simply heard her voice out in the hall my heart rate and bp sky-rocketed! I unfortunately will never go back to this location just so I can avoid being treated by this Dr.

Has no bed side manners doesn't understand patients and need more practice in the field. If she is in any one of the ER's in Mount Clemens, Detroit/ Grosse Pointe or Macomb st. John....request for a different physician or simply RUN to avoid any complications. Good luck!
